Turlock : 62) Household Maintenance & Sub-Flooring Repair - A Chance to Make a Big Impact!

date: April 29, 2017
time: 7:30am kick-off, 8-11:30 project
description:

Some great ways to make an impact for this nice lady!  There is quite a list to tackle but don't let the more skilled jobs scare you off... she'll be grateful if we can tackle any of all of the needs listed. If we can get the 1st 4 items we'd be trilled for her!

The needs are as follows:

1) INSTALL NEW THERMOSTAT
Currently using an old mechanical thermostat that has no cover on it. She will provide the thermostat.

2) INSTALL NEW CRANKS ON OLD STYLE WINDOWS
Two windows in the house currently do not open, the hand cranks have fallen out. Shw will provide.

3) WEEDS IN FRONT YARD
The front yard is approx. 30'x40' and is all weeds; a weed-eater will do the job nicely

4) FIX WEED SPRAYER
She'd appreciate someone looking at her small weed sprayer that is not working (but worked recently) to see if it is fixable (clogged nozzle maybe)

5) 2 HOLES IN THE FLOOR
This house has two spots one in the living room and one in the bathroom where the subfloor has been rotted by water. The spot in the living room is in a corner made by two experior walls and is approx 10"x18". The spot in the bathroom is around and under the toilet.  The toilet is settling and may break through the floor. The flooring jobs require a professional.

Bring: general hand tools (screw drivers, plyers, wire strippers etc.) for window cranks and thermostat, weed-eater, grass rakes

Thank you!
