Turlock : 56) Make Blankets for Homeless Children

date: April 29, 2017
time: 7:30am kick-off; 8:00am project
description:

To balance the ratio of adults to children, the remaining spots need to be filled by ADULTS ONLY.

We provide the materials, we just need the volunteer helpful hands! Come join us to make blankets that will be given to the children who come to Turlock Gospel Mission for warm shelter during the winter months. The Turlock Gospel Mission is an incredible blessing to our homeless who live in Turlock and while they do so much to help these individuals, there is still plenty more to do and we can be a part of that.

These blankets do NOT require sewing! The blankets are made from non-pilling fleece and we need our volunteers to tie the strips of fleece on the edges of the blankets. There are 200 ties to be tied on each blanket. Let's get this done and bless God's children with a warm blanket!
