Turlock : 2) Bake Treats for Families of Hospice Patients

date: April 29, 2017
time: 7:30am kick-off; 9:30am project

This project will take place at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House at 2201 Euclid Ave. in Hughson on the grounds of the Samaritan Village retirement community. This Hospice House serves many Turlock residents and their families. We need compassionate hearts who are willing to bake cookies, brownies, or whichever treats you enjoy baking in the kitchen here at the Hospice House and then serve them to the family members of the current patients. Though these patients are in their final stages on Earth and unable to partake of these treats, you will bless their families with your kindness as they go through this challenging time with their families.

The only requirements for these projects is that the volunteers will need to bring their OWN ingredients to make the baked goods you plan to bake, sign a confidentiality agreement once you arrive at the Hospice House and wear a hairnet while you bake.

Event kick-off (Stanislaus County fairgrounds, free stage area)
12-2pm Free BBQ for recipients & volunteers (fairgrounds)
