Modesto : Hospice Patient Yard Work

leader: Rick Dahlseid
time: 9am - 12pm
description:

Thank you for considering this project. On Saturday, we will help home bound hospice patients and their families with some tender loving care for their yards. (Volunteers will be asked to sign a HIPAA confidentiality agreement for patient privacy protection.)

Please bring gloves, hat, sunscreen, rakes, small shovels, and a bucket. If you have and can bring either a lawn mower, weed-eater, power-trimmer, blower, or wheel barrow, please email me at rick.dahlseid@hospiceheart.org.

Festivities begin at 8 a.m. with FREE food and beverages! Rally starts at 9 a.m. sharp! Please remember to attend the rally located in front of the Gallo Center at 1000 I Street in downtown Modesto, before volunteering at your specific project site. You will receive instructions from your project leader prior to beginning your volunteer service.

**Drop the Drugs, a partnership between the Stanislaus Drug Enforcement Agency & the Stanislaus County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services, will have a safe "drop off" and disposal center for unused prescription and over-the-counter medications, located in front of the Stanislaus County Court House at 9am.

Thank you for your willingness to give back to your community! If you have any questions, please email contact@lovemodesto.com
