Lodi : Adopt a Highway (Hwy 99 Between Turner and Kettleman)

leader: David Diskin
date: April 29, 2017
time: 9:30-12:30

Join the Stockton Area Atheists and Freethinkers on their ongoing project to keep CA-99 clean in Lodi!

We're going to clean up CA-99 (northbound, between Kettleman and Turner)!

This event coincides with the annual Love Lodi clean-up event, which launches at 9 AM at Hale Park (209 E Elm St) in Lodi.

We'll meet at Hale Park, review safety procedures, equip supplies, and split into smaller groups. Then we'll head to Highway 99 to clean up trash for about 2 hours. After that, it's back to Hale Park to enjoy lunch and celebrate.

To participate, please RSVP so that we may follow-up with you and watch this safety video.

No tools are required! Caltrans has provided gloves, trash bags, grabbers, and helmets.

You may want to bring a bucket (for trash, easier to use than bags) and a water bottle. You must wear jeans and close-toed shoes.

RAIN OR SHINE. If it rains, we'll join another group working indoors to clean up Lodi.

Got kids? Other events happening in Love Lodi are kid friendly. Bring them, and get connected with another local group while representing SAAF.
